- Hello;
-
- I have an old Zenith Mastersport 386SX laptop that I use when I travel
- for word processing. I have also started taking my 28.8 external modem along
- too so I can check my e-mail when I am on the road. My problem is that the
- serial port on the laptop only has an 8250 UART. I get comm overruns when I
- use the modem. Are there some AT commands I can use to limit the rate of the
- modem to prevent the comm overruns??
-
- Please respond by e-mail and post to this group.
- Bernie.
